The hard, clear, plastic jar of the Omega BL660W Blender can hold a whopping 82 ounces, the most of any blender in our tests. The Omega was exceptionally fast and excelled at making smoothies and margaritas, and finely grinding coffee beans.
As it has a built-in timer you can program it to run from 15 seconds to six minutes and it will automatically shut off at the end of the cycle. We love the fact that there are 10 variable settings so you can start off slow and increase the speed as ingredients start blending. The lid latches on two sides eliminating any fears that your concoction will land on the ceiling. If you're a serious blender user and you're looking for one that feeds a crowd, this is your model.
