Smartphones: Which OS is Best?

These days, there are countless smartphone model options to choose from.  However, when it comes to the operating system, there are only three options to choose from. There are those who swear at the Steve Jobs altar and cannot live without their iPhones, and there is the Android phone which is the market leader, but is getting stiff competition from the Windows phone. Confused? We don't blame you. Here's a handy guide to all of your OS options:
Windows
Snap screen: This is a unique feature in windows and it allows you operate two apps at a time as one app covers three-fourths of the screen and the other the rest of it.

Live tiles: The Windows screen is very dynamic and easy on the eye. The app icons are represented by live tiles that reveal constantly updated information. It can also be resized which provides an additional degree of customization. It is a feature that is truly unique to the Windows phone.
The settings of the app in a Windows phone is built-in directly into the app and it is very easy to adjust - unlike iOS where you have to exit from the app to change the settings.
The current file system in the windows phone helps you search for for a particular item anywhere on the phone unlike iOS which doesn't have a full file system search option.
The new internet explorer is a lot more interactive and has features that make it much better than Safari.
Android
Android allows customization for third party publishers which it makes it very popular among the users.
Android is an open platform which makes it easily accessible to all.
A major drawback with Android is that it is very fragmented which makes it hard for the developers to accommodate every Android user.
An Android is not as fast or fluid as iOS which makes it less popular among the Apple users.
iOS
Apple has a huge number of apps available, probably the most on the market today.
There are many iPhone apps that have free ad-supported versions on Android, but need to be bought for iOS.
Integration and sync with a PC computer is less streamlined - the phone is native to Apple, so it integrates best with Apple computers.
If you want to use iOS, you have to buy an iPhone, which is generally more expensive than other models.
