Prada is an Italian fashion house that specializes in luxury items for both men
and women. Mario Prada established the company in 1913. It produces a variety
of accessories, from clothing, cosmetics, fashion accessories and jewelries to
perfumes, watches and even wines and spirits. It also has a noted leather collection.
The company’s handbags are considered to be some of the most prestigious in the
world, with the price tag amounting to tens of thousands simply because it bears the
name of the prestigious fashion house.

9. Lana Marks

Lana Marks is a fashion designer that has an eponymously named brand. The brand
specializes in leather accessories, creating more than 150 styles in 100 different
colors. Celebrities who have been spotted carrying the brand’s bag include Jennifer

Hermes is a high-end fashion brand based in Paris. Established in 1837, the

than $20,000, but the Matte Crocodile version features 10 carats of diamonds, thus
bloating its price to $120,000.

Louis Vuitton is actually synonymous with the term luxury. The company was
established in 1854 and is based in Paris. It has been named the most valuable
luxury brand in the world for six straight years starting in 2006. In 2012, the brand
was valued at $25.9 billion. The company sells its products online, in high-end
department stores and malls, and in stand-alone boutiques. The company is known
for handbags like the Raindrop Besace, a waterproof bag that costs almost $2,000
and the New Age Traveler, a backpack with lots of phone cables that costs $55,000.
It even created a bag made from the materials of 15 different Louis Vuitton bags.
Appropriately named the Patchwork, it costs $42,000.
